What We Love About Printed Photos?
While social media platforms come and go, we thing the traditional hardcopy photography will never be replaced. Stored away in shoe boxes, wallets and sometimes even a photo album, traditional printed photos have stood the test of time. Whilst popular today, there is no guarantee that storage facilities such as the Cloud, Facebook and Instagram will be around tomorrow. MySpace was the go to place to share images 15 years ago, however no one uses it today! Today DVD drives are very rarely used and have since been replaced with USB’s and Cloud storage, meaning perhaps we won’t be able to easily access great photos we stored digitally years ago. And unless you’ve taken the time to download images from your old phone, all the photos will likely be gone forever.
However the printed photos we have from decades ago are still going strong. Physical prints are often the most treasured possessions in any household. The nostalgic feeling you get from browsing through old family photos of parties, weddings and anniversaries somehow can’t be replicated by digital.
